Our revolving and tilting cantilever umbrellas allow you to change the angle of shade according to the movement of the sun, protecting your clientele and premises from the heat and the glare of early morning or late afternoon sun.

Side post umbrellas can also be linked or cantilevered off a single pole to provide maximum shade protection, and can be used as a marketing tool or to help your cafe stand out from the crowd with your logo or brand screen printed onto the umbrellas.

Jeff brings a wealth of practical, client-focussed management experience drawn from his 25 years working in construction project management and 10 years as the COO of a printed electronics company developing class leading products for international markets.

Jude Ho

Site Supervisor / Leading Installer

Certificate III in Carpentry

As the Creative Canvas’s site supervisor and leading installer, Jude oversees most of our manufacturing, does the check measures, the installations, as well as any repairs or servicing that customers require.

“I love working both in the factory and in the field, manufacturing,delivering and installing high quality outdoor shade solutions that solve our customer’s challenges,” says Jude.

Before he joined the Creative Canvas team in 2004, Jude worked in the marine rigging, construction and repair business in Trinidad, and his knowledge of and experience in this area continues to be a great asset to the Creative Canvas design and installation process.

Steve Magor

Steve joined the Creative Canvas team in 2004 after several years assembling awnings for a European awning wholesaler. As our senior installer, Steve draws on his experience and knowledge of componentry and awning automation every day.

“I love the variety of my job,” says Steve, “and I really love working outside.”

“My role as Senior Installer is so varied, there are so many different applications and outcomes for our shade solutions, I get to see a lot of different places and we get to see what people really need and I get to deliver and install the solution that makes them happy.”

Vicki Kiddle

Office Administration & Marketing

With her background working in project management and as a personal assistant, Vicki ensures we deliver high quality customer service and are always responsive to our customer’s needs.

“I really like delivering good service to people,” says Vicki, “helping them over the phone, promptly getting back to them and following up afterwards.”

“I’m always thinking about the backend of our business, ensuring our processes and workflow are the best they can be so we can deliver the highest quality customer service with the fastest turnaround time on our jobs.”

“It’s such a varied and interesting job, but the most rewarding aspect is definitely dealing with our lovely customers. So many of them are returning customers and it's a great feeling to know that customers are coming back to us because they are happy with the shade solutions we have created for their home and their business.”

Lianne Saunders

Office Administration & Accounts

Lianne shares the office administration duties with Vicki, looks after the accounts and takes customer enquiries over the phone.

“I really enjoy working for a family owned business using Australian made products, drawing on my experience in administration and customer relations.”

“Some customers have a clear idea of what they are looking for, whereas other customers come to us not knowing what type of shade solution they are after. I really enjoy helping people and discussing the options with them.”

“As well as assisting customers on the phone, I also help customers who pop into our showroom, showing them the folding arm awnings, our range of fabrics, paint colours and our custom colours too. I really enjoy all of the customer interaction, both in person and on the phone.”

Since 1997, Creative Canvas has been a member of the Specialised Textiles Association of Australia (STA), the industry representative body that sets the benchmarks for industry excellence for the fabric and textiles sectors in Australia. The STA is represented on the Standards Association of Australia Committee Code of Ethics.
